Going to court is best avoided. Except in the clearest of cases, there is risk. But sometimes it is necessary or unavoidable. When presented with a new matter I will assess the issues and circumstances, including of the client, and tailor how I will charge having made that assessment.

I can assist with various commercial agreements and situations, including agency and distribution agreements, loans, guarantees and indemnities, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, partnership and joint venture agreements, terms and conditions of trade, employment agreements and issues, consultancy, management and labour hire agreements, sale of business, sale of assets, sale of shares, sale of units, corporate, trusts and franchise advice.

Why have a will? Why have a lawyer prepare a will? Superannuation, de facto relationships, blended families, a surviving spouse having to otherwise share ownership of the family home with minor children – they are some of the answers. There are other ways I can help: powers of attorney; enduring powers of attorney; enduring powers of guardianship, special disability trusts.

In addition to general commercial matters, in the property context I can assist with mortgages, sale of land, leasing, adverse possession, co-ownership, partition and sale in lieu.
